BMW iX1 EV Launched in India : Key Specifications

The iX1 SUV, an electric version of the X1 SUV,  introduced by BMW India.  This is the German automaker's fourth all-electric vehicle.

The iX1 is distinguished by its distinctive 'I' identification, adaptive LED headlights, and blue bumper accents on the front and back. Rest of the style is carried over from the ICE variant. 

With dual motors and a 66.4kWh battery pack, the BMW iX1 can produce 309bhp and 494Nm of peak torque and claim a WLTP range of up to 440km.

It has a top speed of 180 kmph and sprints from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.6 seconds.

Battery charges from 10% to 80% in about 29 minutes using a 130kW DC fast charger. With 11kW AC charger takes 6.3 hours to fully charge the battery.

More features include a 12-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system, ambient lighting, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, motorized tailgate, and a floating armrest with storage, active front seats with massaging functions. 

The vehicle was introduced as a completely built-up unit (CBU) for INR 66,90,000 (Ex-Showroom) India. Deliveries to begin in October 2023.
