Made in India Aprilia RS457 to launch soon : Key Specifications

The eagerly awaited Aprilia RS 457 sportbike has made its global debut and to be positioned below the Aprilia RS 660.

 In order to serve international markets, Piaggio India's factory in Baramati, Maharashtra, will manufacture the RS 457 in India.

The test team in Baramati worked with the company's Noale headquarters to design this motorcycle.

A 457 cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin, DOHC, four-valve engine with 47 horsepower is installed in the Aprilia RS 457.

Full LED illumination, separate LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and a two-into-one underbelly exhaust and brand-new metal frame.

The RS 457 include 41 mm USD front forks, 320 mm front disc 220 mm steel disc, standard dual-channel ABS.

Electrical features including the quickshifter, traction control system, and ride-by-wire.

The dashboard features a 5-inch TFT color instrument, clip-on handlebars, and backlit controls and  three riding modes.

17-inch sports wheels with high-performance 110/70 up front and 150/60 in back are mounted on the RS 457.

The RS 457's price and availability have not yet been made public by Aprilia India. It can also pose a threat for the Ninja 400 or Duke 390 as well.
